This is a network of cell receptors that “control movement, emotion, hormone production, and pleasure centers” very critical to our daily function. So critical that a Endocannabinoid called Anaminide is correlated with the chemical that makes our bodies feel hunger!
The two active ingredients in Cannabis are CBD(appetite suppressant) and THC(appetite booster). The interesting dynamic of these two compounds is most strains of Cannabis contain both CBD and THC. CBD regulates appetite and protects the insulin producing cells.THC makes your ECS feel pleasure when you eat fatty foods like French fries, chips, and ice cream.
In closing in terms of Cannabis having direct effects on losing weight is more complicated then yes or no. Tolerance can be a contribution to keep the waist line down and decrease blood sugar levels. (so there is a underbelly to tolerance breaks) There are awesome edible recipes ways to infuse cannabis easily like “Golden Delight basically an infused version of “golden milk”.
