One of the great things about marijuana that it has endless ways to consume it, and people are getting innovative in this department. Smoking it is just the old fashion way. When it comes to edibles, it can get VERY creative and experts have came up with tons of ideas.

Now, When thinking about weed edibles, sweeteners like cannabis corn syrup are usually overlooked. The great things about infused corn cannabis corn syrup are its ease of preparation and the many different applications. Infused corn cannabis corn syrup is a great starting point for many sweet-treats, including the increasingly popular hard candy route for those looking to ingest their cannabis in more a stealthy manner.

  • A joint, a bottle of wine, a loved one, good music and candles (optional)
  • 1 oz of finely grounded cannabis
  • 3 cups of light corn syrup
  • Airtight storage container
  • Fine mesh metal strainer
  • Cheesecloth

  1. First off, take a hit, pour a glass of wine play music on your stereo, and light up the candles. Again, it's optional, it's just the way I like to do it.
  2. In a medium sized saucepan, pour your corn syrup and turn on heat to low, making sure not to let it bubble up, about 5 minutes.
  3. Add ground cannabis and cook for 4-5 hours, stirring occasionally.
  4. Once the mixture is ready, prepare metal strainer by placing cheesecloth inside the strainer and above the container, making sure to secure with your free hand.
  5. Pour mixture into double strainer on top of the container, repeating if necessary to remove all plant matter.
  6. Store cooled container in a cool and dark place for up to 6 months.

  • Shake it before use
  • I suggest keeping in the refrigerator, just in case.
  • I sometimes add it to my morning coffee, only on the weekends. Great twist. Great feeling.
