First off, check our Magical Butter review here

Having a cannaoil in my house is one of the essential things that I can't live without, like cumin. Or TV. Or weed for that matter. And if you haven't discover the magic of eating your cannabis, you're about to have a complete different journey than the one you've already had.

Cannaoil is very easy to make, especially if you have the Magical Butter. We do sell it on our 421Store, and I'm not saying this because we sell it. It's the best and easiest way to make cannaoil. So if you want to get into making your own edibles using cannaoil or cannabutter, I highly recommend buying one of those. You can find it in your local dispensaries, or reach out to me for a discount.

  • Skill level: Easy
  • Cycle time: 1 Hour/Oil
  • Yield: 2-5 cups/475-1.18 L

Ingredients

  • ¼-½ ounce/7-14 g of marijuana - Cup/240 ml*
  • 2-5 cups/475-1.18 L cooking oil (preferably coconut oil or olive oil; do not use ordinary soybean, canola, or corn oil)
  • 1 tablespoon/15 ml lecithinper cup/240 ml**
  • DO NOT ADD WATER!

How to

  • Place the ingredients into your MagicalButter machine, and secure the head.

  • Press the temperature button, and select 160°F/71°C (or 130°F/55°C if using the machine at high altitude and/or in a dry climate); then press the 1 Hour/Oil

  • After the cycle is complete, unplug the unit at the outlet, and remove the head of the appliance. Put on your LoveGlove™, and pour the pitcher contents slowly through your PurifyFilter™ into formed molds, ice-cube trays, or other storage container.

Chef’s Notes

For best results do not pre-grind your weed. Also adjust the marijuana weight you will use for the cannaoil according to your personal preference. **Sunflower, rice, or soy lecithin is optional but highly recommended. Lecithin is an emulsifier used in the pharmaceutical industry for binding ingredients and increasing the potency of preparations. Lecithin comes in the form of granules, powder, and liquid; any form is sufficient. It is available at your local health-food or vitamin store.

You may find lecithin in capsules, but we do not recommend them, because they contain too many binders and fillers.

Here you got it. How to make cannaoil. Enjoy.

Believe it or not, the 1 gram cannabutter recipe is real and it works! So, a few weeks back I got my hands on some pretty potent Lemon OG Kush - 2 grams of flower to be exact. Rolling one gram up into a nice joint, I sat leisurely and well-medicated in my kitchen thinking, 'Maybe I can make cannabutter with this 1 gram that I have.'
