This recipe is great when you have cannabutter just ready it's cooled but still melted.
If you just starting cannabutter at home and want to make these donuts, the easiest way to do it is by putting decarbed weed into a cheesecloth or tea brewing spoon, this makes it much cleaner and easier to work with. Measure the required amount of butter, add one teaspoon of water let it melt and add your greens. Cook slowly on low heat for about 30minutes, stir occasionally and be careful to not bring it to the boil. When it is ready just let it cool for few minutes, squeeze all of the remaining butter out from a weed and leave it for next few minutes. When the butter is still in a liquid state and a little warm, you can start making donuts.
In a large bowl, stir and combine the flour, caster sugar, baking powder and salt. Optionally you can add a pinch of cinnamon or a tablespoon of cacao powder. In the other bowl add melted butter, egg and milk and beat it with an electric beater until mixture is smooth and creamy, next add to the dry ingredients and mix to combine.
Heat the doughnut maker for 4-5 minutes and then spoon 2 teaspoons of the mixture evenly into each mold. Close the lid. Cook for about 4/5 minutes or until doughnuts are golden brown and soft to touch. Next carefully remove the hot doughnut and place onto a wire cooling rack.
When they are cooled down ,you can prepare the glaze and add some fancy sprinkles if desired.
