5 Ways to Drink Your Cannabis

As one of the founders of Rose Glow Tea Room, I am always looking for different ways people can enjoy drinking their cannabis. Most of these marijuana recipes contain coconut oil. There are so many healthy benefits to coconut oil. Coconut oil also has a higher fat content than butter and absorbs more THC. Another reason I enjoy drinking my cannabis is because when I feel high I can stop and save the rest for later. Here are my top five drinks to get you high.

(At Rose Glow Tea Room we have a total crush on the Asian Fantasy strain at the moment).

This recipe is my go-to for when I’m feeling under the weather. The pear juice has a very subtle sweetness. I also drink ginger to relieve and upset stomach, and the marijuana helps with that as well.

*Check this Cannabis Cooking Calculator for the Perfect dose.

1. Ginger Tea with Pear Juice

Via Giphy

  • Pour 1/4 cup of pear juice in mug

  • Add lemon ginger tea bag and hot water

  • Steep for 2-3 minutes

  • Add ginger syrup to taste

  • Add 10 drops of cannabis tincture

D.I.Y Ginger Syrup

  • 2-3 pieces of ginger

  • 1 cup of water

  • 1 cup of granulated sugar

  • Clean, peel, and dice ginger

  • Add ingredients to sauce pan

  • Bring to a boil

  • Turn to medium and allow to simmer for 15min

  • Set aside for and hour to cool

  • Strain liquid into a jar

  • Add to tea to taste

This is a good weekend coffee recipe for me. It is a very easy recipe that also blends the benefits of coconut oil and cannabis. The key is to mix this in a blender, not with a spoon.

2. Brain Power Coffee

Via Giphy

  • 8-12 ounces of coffee

  • 2 Tablespoons of cannabis infused coconut oil

  • Pour all ingredients in blender

  • Blend for 15-30 seconds

This a great summer time recipe. I try to keep dragon fruit on hand in the summer due to all of the benefits the fruit has. This recipe is quite healthy.

3. Summer Time Smoothie

  • Cannabis infused coconut milk

  • 1/2 cup of raspberries

  • 1/2 strawberries

  • 1 dragon fruit

  • Pour all ingredients in blender

  • Blend for 15-30 seconds

I have been working on this recipe for a few weeks, trying to decide the best chai tea to use with this recipe. With this recipe I like to use the Bigelow Caramel Chai Tea. It gives the drink a more festive taste.

4. Pumpkin Spice Chai Tea

Via Giphy

  • 2/3 cup of almond milk or soy milk

  • 1 bag of chai tea

  • 1 teaspoon of Cannabis infused coconut butter

  • 2 Tablespoons of pumpkin puree (canned pumpkin is okay)

  • dash of cinnamon

  • dash of nutmeg

  • Add all of the ingredients to saucepan

  • Simmer for 5-10 min

I start drinking this in the fall around the fire pit in my backyard. I have always loved Mexican chocolate, and I was really happy to make an infused recipe of my own. This recipe literally  gets you warm and fuzzy. The heavy cream in this recipe can be infused with marijuana as well. I usually only infuse on portion with marijuana so I can control my dosage easier.

5. Mexican Hot Chocolate

Via Giphy

  • 5 ounces of chocolate chips

  • 1/2 cup of marijuana infused whole milk

  • 1/2 cup of heavy cream

  • 1 teaspoon of cayenne pepper

  • Add all of the ingredients to saucepan

  • Simmer for 5-10 min until all chips are dissolved and well mixed

If you or anyone you know are interested in trying some infused tea. Rose Glow Tea Room will be at some pop up events this fall and feel free to go on out website. We are constantly working on flavors new flavors. www.roselowtearoom.com
