I'm the owner and general manager of Monroe Blvd and 421Store, my inspiration came from observing the growing cannabis market, the type of solutions available, and the new class of customers emerging after the legalization initiatives in the U.S.
I received my B.Sc. in electrical engineering from University of Baghdad. YES! I'm from Iraq, moved here in 2009. And YES! I was there through out all the wars. Three of them. Although I lived most of my life in Iraq, and without getting into the politics, I'm an American first. Ask me anything here if you have any questions.
I received my MBA degree at the University of Arizona in Tucson, Arizona. In summer 2017 I moved to Bellingham, WA running away from Arizona heat, hopefully I can pull off becoming a snow-bird next winter. I will keep you posted.
I love what I do, I love the cannabis culture. I love interacting with my stoners customers and try my best to provide them the best solutions they're looking for the best prices. Weed helped me a lot to overcome many obstacles in my life, including social anxiety and depression. It helped me to becoming myself. Opened my eyes to a whole new world. A new fantastic point of view (etc.) - I hated though the stigma comes with it. That's why one of our main goal in Monroe Blvd is to fight this unfair stigma - by reinforcing the positive attributes of cannabis through providing relevant content and to deliver exclusive accessories to the cannabis connoisseur. Deliver an insight to be a stoner and enjoy your favorite herb and keep a productive and responsible lifestyle.
I never stopped working on improving my verbal and non-verbal communication skills - I'd like to think I'm a good conversationalist, it is though one of the compliment I've got from couple friends, I also got "provocateur", which I also thought it's a compliment.
Hey, hit me up. Say hi. I'd love to hear your experience with Cannabis and how it changed your life as it changed mine.
