Marijuana Effects: Why Marijuana Gives You the Munchies
My way to stay away from sugar, candy, and all type of junk food is by, simply, not buying them.
There is a pickle here though, it's around 6 pm, it's about the time I start chilling and, you know, take a hit or two. 10 minutes later, you will find me all over my fridge trying to find something "interesting" to munch on - The good news, I usually find some "interesting" things - the bad news, they're all my roommate's.
Ok, in this case, what would you do? You will have two options, you're either go ahead and eat his cereal, or the slice of pizza from last night - and hope you will remember to replace it later - or you will have to drive all the way to Safeway just for one thing, the fucking munchies!
Marijuana Effects: Paper claiming DNA Damage by Cannabis Debunked Immediately
A new “study” out of Australia has been completely debunked by one of the leading cannabinoid researchers Ethan Russo.
Last week Associate Professor Stuart Reece and Professor Gary Hulse at the University of Western Australia released a paper claiming that cannabis caused DNA mutations which are passed down generation to generation. They claimed that someone who didn’t even use the drug could have life-threatening genetic mutations passed down to them if a parent or grandparent used this dangerous drug. They also claimed that cannabis causes aggressive childhood cancers.
Why I Smoke Weed?
When exploring routine behaviors of which we engage. I find it useful to inspect those behaviors from time to time. See what they’re up to, and whether they are serving us (or are we serving them). We may ask ourselves why we engage in certain behaviors, what we’re getting out of the relationship and whether there is an exchange, a penalty, or just pure bliss with no downside. Scrutinizing specific behaviors and making evaluations on benefit against cost in money, time, effort, stress, or risk to our health. If it’s a substance that we’re speaking of, is there a risk of dependence? Are we using it to enhance or escape our realities? What’s the physical as well as mental toll?
